| Abstract | In this paper, we formulate a new integrity constraint in correlation with 3-valued stable models in an abduction framework based on general logic programs. Under the constraint, not every ground atom or its negation is a logical consequence of the theory and an expected abductive explanation, but some atom may be unspecified as a logical consequence by an adjustment. As a reflection of the integrity constraint with an adjustment, we augment an adjusting derivation to Eshghi and Kowalski abductive proof procedure, in which such an unspecified atom can be dealt with. |

| Abstract | The release mechanism of chemical mediators from basophils and mast cells was discussed when these cells were stimulated by different antigens and anti-IgE. 1. Ca(2+) influx into mast cells increased after stimulation by antigen. The increased Ca(2+) uptake by mast cells was inhibited by antiallergic agents, disodium cromoglycate (DSCG) and tranilast, and calcium antagonists, nifedipine and nicardipine. 2. The dose-response curve of histamine release by antigen was different from that by anti-IgE. The maximum release of histamine by house dust was, however, similar to that by anti-IgE. House dust- and anti-IgE-induced release of histamine increased with higher- serum IgE levels. On the contrary, the release of histamine by Candida albicans was not releated to serum IgE levels, and the release by C. albicans did not parallel therelease by anti-IgE. |

| Abstract | 今まで内科的治療が主体であった肺気腫に対して,近年外科的治療(Volume Reduction Surgery 以後VRSと略す)が行われるようになった｡VRSを受ける患者の看護では,手術前後において, リハビリテーション(以後リハビリと略す)や機能回復に向けてのケアが必要不可欠とされる。そこで,本研究は肺気腫患者の適切な看護援助を検討するために,手術前後に示す肺気腫患者のリハビリや活動に対する反応を明らかにすることを目的とした｡対象者は当病棟に入院している肺気腫患者8名(VRS手術前8名,手術後はそのうちの6名である)で, リハビリ, 日常生活活動,呼吸,手術などについて,面接ならびに観察による調査を行った｡分析の結果,手術前においてリハビリでは≪義務感≫,頑張って行えば呼吸が楽になるという≪期待感≫,≪サポート≫,≪不安≫が,活動では≪活動の制限≫,手術では呼吸が楽になるのではという≪期待感≫,≪おまかせ≫,≪いちかばちかの賭け≫,≪不安≫,≪回復に向けての欲求の高まり≫が明らかになった｡手術後においてリハビリでは≪呼吸が楽になるための手段≫が, 日常生活活動では≪今の状態よりは良くなると いう期待感≫が,手術では≪達成感≫ と≪身体的苦痛≫が,将来については≪ささやかな欲求≫が明らかになった｡ |

| Abstract | Specific regions of core protein of phosphacan, one of the chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans, were expressed as fusion proteins with histidine-tag (His-tag) in Escherichia coli (E.coli) and were affinity purified using nickel-nitrilotriacetic acid (Ni-NTA) matrix. cDNA fragments encoding amino acid residues 343-446 (P3) and 1-340 (P4) of phosphacan core protein were amplified by polymerase chain reaction from E18 rat brain mRNA as template. The amplified products were subcloned into pQE30 vector and were introduced into E.coli strain M15 [pREP4] for the expression. The His-tagged fusion proteins were expressed by cultivating the transformants at 37℃ for 5h in the presence of 1mM IPTG. His-tagged P3 fusion protein (His-P3) was expressed as soluble form, and was purified using Ni-NTA matrix. His-tagged P4 fusion protein (His-P4) which was sequestered into insoluble inclusion bodies was treated with 8.0M urea to solubilize, and then was purified under denaturing conditions. |

| Abstract | 食道癌患者は腫瘍による狭窄のため,程度の差はあるものの,術前より通過障害を認めることが多い｡食道癌と診断され,手術を自己決定した患者の多くは,手術をして罹患前のように食事ができるようになりたいと思っている｡しかし,患者の多くが術後に嚥下感覚の変化に遭遇する｡現在,手術前に実施されるインフォームドコンセント(以下IC)では,術後に起こる嚥下感覚の変化については説明が行われていない｡そのため患者は,経口摂取が可能になった時点で嚥下感覚の変化を自覚し,強い不安を感じる｡今回, 5人の患者に術後の嚥下感覚の変化に関するインタビューを実施するとともに,術後の嚥下活動を頸部電気インピーダンスおよび嚥下音を用いて測定した｡インタビューの結果, 5人全てが,術後に嚥下感覚の変化を自覚し,不安を感じていた｡また,青年健常者と比較し,IPG波形の多相化と,嚥下音の咽頭期以外での発生が認められた｡患者が,術後に起こる嚥下感覚の変化についてのICを望んでいることからも,術後の嚥下感覚の変化についてのICを行なう必要がある｡ |

| Abstract | 腎移植は,レシピエントのQOLを高めることで期待される治療法であるが,移植後の拒絶反応や合併症,あるいはそれらに伴う心理社会的問題などによって移植後のQOLに影響を及ぼす危険性を孕んでいる｡本研究では,腎移植後レシピエントのQOL向上を目指した看護援助を検討するために,移植後のQOLに影響すると考えられる移植を受けた理由やそのときの気持ち,ローカスオブコントロールをとりあげた。本研究の目的は,そのようなレシピエントの背景がQOLとどのように関係しているのかを明らかにすることである｡対象者は研究の同意を得た腎移植後のレシピエント119名であり,人生に対する感じ方,移植を受けた理由やそのときの気持ち,ローカスオブコントロール,QOLなどについて自己報告調査を行った｡その結果,レシピエントは移植後に何らかの身体症状や合併症が生じていても,81%の者が人生を肯定的に感じていた｡そして,生活を充実させたいとして移植を受けた者が,また,ローカスオブコントロールの内的統制傾向が強い者ほどQOLを高める傾向にあった｡したがって,看護婦はQOLに影響を及ぼすレシピエントの背景を加味して,移植前から適切な看護援助を行う必要性が示唆された｡ |

| Abstract | 本研究の目的は,喉頭切除術を受けた患者が体験している困難とそれへの対処方法を明らかにすることである｡自宅で生活する1名の喉頭切除術後患者に対して行った半構成面接により得られたデータを質的帰納的に分析した結果,喉頭切除術を受けた患者が体験している困難な体験としては,【転移に対する恐怖を持ち続けて生活していかなければならない不安】【うまく意思疎通できないことへの苛立ち】【元通りの生活ができない煩わしさ】【変化した機能を補いながら生きていかなくてはならない不便さ】【予測できない症状に対する恐怖】【役割を果たせないことに対する自己嫌悪】【気管ロを特異な目で見られることの不快感】【生活を再構築するための時間の必要性】の8のカテゴリーが抽出された｡また,困難な体験に対する患者の対処方法としては,<術後の状態をイメージする><治療を継続する><発声以外の方法によるコミュニケーションへの転換をはかる><毎日の生活の中で工夫しながら食べる><入浴時つかれるところまでつかり,あとは拭く><気管口をふさがない洋服に買い換える><生きて行くために淡々と気管カニューレの入れ替えを行い,気道の清浄化をはかる><家族から臭いについて情報を得る><自分で病院を受診する><自分で対処方法を修得する><今自分のできることを行う><自分の感覚に従って,覆い隠さず普通にする><時間をかけて元の生活に近づける>の13のカテゴリーが抽出された｡<術後の状態をイメージする>という対処方法は,その他12の対処方法の根底として存在し,この<術後の状態をイメージする>という対処方法が,困難な体験を乗り越えていくための原動力になっていることが明らかとなった｡ |

| Abstract | 周産期医学にとって浮腫の定量評価は重要である｡これまでは,測定部位の2箇所の周囲長をメジャーで測り,その変化により浮腫を評価している｡また周囲長により容積を推定する方法も提案されている｡しかしながら,この方法ではメジャーの測定部位への巻き付け方による誤差や容積を推定する根拠となる測定部位のモデル形状と実際の測定部位の形状との誤差など様々な誤差の影響により,精度の点からは十分とはいえない｡そこで,本研究では浮腫評価のための高精度で日常的な使用に適した体肢容積計を開発した｡この測定原理はアルキメデスの原理を適用したもので,水を入れた水槽に測定部位を入れる前後の質量変化により,その容積を量るしくみである｡まず,この容積計の出力の線形性,分解能,安定性,再現性について検討を行った｡この結果,本装置の仕様は最大計測容積25,000cm(3),分解能1cm(3),非直線性0.007%以下となり,非常に高精度であるといえる｡また,被験者3名の足部,下腿部の容積の日内変化を測定した結果,各被験者の容積変化の特徴を明らかにすることができ,浮腫評価への応用ができることを確認した。 |

| Abstract | 高齢者の在宅介護者7名に対して質問紙を用いた面接を行い,介護継続理由と介護より得たものの二側面について尋ねた｡その中で特に,それらがどのように介護者と高齢者のQOLを向上させるかに注目した｡介護継続理由については,愛情と家族の杵が最も重要であり,被介護者の健康の悪化が,しばしば在宅介護を中断させていた｡また家父長制に基づく性的役割が,介護者の義務感や伝統観に強く影響していることも明らかになった｡介護が始まった時期における被介護者からの希望や宗教的影響は,継続理由とはならないことが分かった｡また,介護から得るものが多いと感じていた2人の嫁は,介護に高い意欲を持っており,介護が価値ある体験であるという認識が,介護の動機付けを行っている可能性が示唆された。 |

| Abstract | 研究目的は女性生殖器がん患者の家族に対する思いを明らかにし,患者に対する看護援助について考察することである｡対象は女性生殖器がんと診断された後,手術を経験した入院患者11名｡半構成的面接にてデータ収集を行い,内容の分析は質的分析帰納的方法に基づいて行った｡女性生殖器がん患者の家族への思いについては『家族ががんの病気に自分と同じように衝撃を受ける』『心配をかけないために家族を気遣う』『家族関係が密になる』『病気に立ち向かう力を家族から与えられる』『家族に対する考えが変化する』のカテゴリーに分類された｡罹患の体験から関係を見つめなおし,家族関係の親密さを増す｡家族からの励まし,理解と支援を受けることによって患者は病気に立ち向かう力を家族から与えられ,治療に臨む｡看護者は患者と家族双方の衝撃を理解し,罹患をきっかけとした家族関係の変化が患者にとって治療の意欲につながるよう援助すること,家族内役割調整が進むようチーム体制で援助する必要性が示唆された。 |

| Abstract | 本研究は,｢介護者の会｣参加によってもたらされる介護への影響を,現役介護者と介護終了者の相互作用に焦点を当てて探求しようとするものである｡特に介護終了者が介護を終えた今もどういう意図で会に参加し,実際に何が得られているのか,また介護終了者の参加がもたらす現役介護者への影響は何なのかを,明らかにすることを目的とした｡2つの｢介護者の会｣に依頼し,現役介護者10名,介護終了者13名を対象として,半構造的面接を行った｡その結果1)現役介護者は,会への参加によって将来への不安が軽減し,相談できる人が出来た,適切な介護用品を活用できるようになった等の変化が見られた｡ 2)現役介護者は介護終了者が｢介護者の会｣の世話役を行ってくれることで安心して会に参加でき,介護終了者から安心感や介護ヒントを与えられていた｡3)介護終了者は,次第に聴く立場から語る立場へと変化すると同時に,自らの介護の振り返りも行っていた｡4)介護終了者もまた｢介護者の会｣から情報や現役介護者からの信頼感を得ており,会の成長･活動意欲へと繋がっている,といったことが明らかになった｡ |

| Abstract | We have proposed a mathematical model for the micro-dynamics for cultured cells measured with ECIS system for the detection of nanometer-order dynamics of cells cultured on a small gold electrode and could separately evaluate cell-to-cell distance (A) and cell-to-substrate distance (h). For wide applications of this method, we constructed mathematical models which express cell-to-electrode impedances for some kinds of confluent conditions. Based on this mathematical model, we defined new parameters S(A) and S(h) in order to evaluate cell-to-cell distance and cell-to-substrate distance. As the application, we investigated the effect of X-irradiation to bovine aortic endothelial cell (BAEC). We analyzed the micro-dynamics of cells from the impedance of BAEC before and after X-irradiation. It was proved that the stimulation of 100 Gy X-irradiation to the BAEC resulted in the large scale of increase in the cell-to-cell distances (A), and the slight increase in the cell-to-substrate distances (h) accompany with continuous fluctuations. |

| Abstract | Jane Austen inherited a rich variety of stylistic legacies from her predecessor Samuel Richardson. Among their characteristic features in common is included the use of "double negation, "the device of which is specifically called "litotes" in rhetorical terminology. The present paper examines Austen's use of negative expressions mainly through her Pride and Prejudice (1813) as our linguistic material. A comparative discussion is made,with the aid of computational analysis, on Richardson's Pamela (1740) as well as on several prose fictions from the late 17th to the early 19th century. Our purpose here is twofold : to show statistically the frequency of occurrence of fifteen negative words found in those prose fictions, and to analyse the chief stylistic effects of double negatives extensively used by Austen and Richardson. |

| Abstract | Many economists have not disputed aggressively ‘competition’ itself. However a few experts have had their own visions of ‘competition and rivalry’. We can understand it best when we catch the seller’s completion and rivalry or firm’s ones as the Hayekian economic process. I explain one continuous and straight numerical value line stretching from the left hand end pole to the right hand end pole. People will have adopted the flexible type as the best in the competitive capitalism the seller had kept in mind. In the ‘process of competition and rivalry’allocated in reverse order there are four requirements and five nodes. Though the firm has larger or smaller power of pricing formation, his budget constraint is apt to be relatively soft or to be relatively hard. The cost−plus principle prevails as a universal experienced rule. Does our process of competition and rivalry converge to the type of the flexible price formation again? In the dynamic process of competition and rivalry the combined values, namely, c, g, m and s give vital effects to the firm’s technical innovation and his efficiency sooner or later. The government’s public policies including deregulation can control the producer’s surplus especially in that process observing the firm’s values. We must think over the visible effects of competition and rivalry before we reap them. |
