How to self-archive your work

1. Notice from the Library

  • We will send an email to the corresponding author regarding repository registration.
    Please follow the instructions in the email to apply.
    * We will register open access articles published under a Creative Commons license in the repository.

2. Send by Deposit Form

  • You can send your research output using the web form below:


    * Please upload "Accepted Manuscript", not the version laid out by the publisher ("Version Of Record").
    * Accepted Manuscript(AM) is the version of a journal article that has been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication, and includes changes made by the author during the peer-review process. Accepted Manuscript is "A" shown in the figure below:

    (1)Go to the Deposit Form.
    (2)Enter「[System ID]@okayama-u.ac.jp」 and sign in.


    (3)Login with your Okadai ID and password.
    (4)The OUSAR Deposit Form opens, fill in the blanks.
  • Upload "Accepted Mauscriput".
  • Click "Upload Files", and upload your manuscript.
    Single file size limit is 100MB. When the file size is too large, please contact us.
  • Upload "Scientific Data".
  • The total file size limit is 50MB. When the file size is too large, please contact us.
  • Author's name
  • If you deposit an article on the auther's behalf, enter the author's name.
  • Affiliation
  • Enter your (author's) affiliation.
  • DOI
  • If the article has DOI, choose "Yes" and enter it.
    If the article don't have DOI, choose "No" and enter the publication information.
  • Copyright
  • When the article is published in an academic journal, the copyright of the article may be transferred to the publisher with Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA).
    If the copyright have been transferred to the publisher, Okayama University Libraries investigate publisher's copyright policy.
  • License
  • Choose a condition to use the article.
    Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) [https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/boai10/ ], a community of open access, recommends "Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)".

3. Send by E-mail
