| Abstract | 本稿では、2020年10月６日から11月２１日の７週間にわたって実施されたCLS日本語オンラインプログラムについて報告する。このプログラムの開発に当たっては、2020年度はSDGsの３つのテーマを中心に据えたカリキュラムデザインを行い、既存の教科書を使用しない内容重視の日本語教育を展開した。加えて、授業での活動にはDeep Active Learningのプロセスを援用し、学習者の理解の深化とコンピテンシーの育成を目指した。プログラム終了後に各クラス担当教員にフィードバックを依頼した結果、本プログラムにおいてクラスを運営した感想と評価、改善点についての詳細なコメントがあり、今後の新たなプログラム開発の方向性が示された。 |

| Abstract | This paper sketches an undergraduate global studies program for a Japanese university. It first examines the context of the developing notions of global education and its current status. It then examines the appropriateness of the curriculum for global human resources development at Japanese universities, which passes widely as global education in Japan. It then shows why a new global studies program may be necessary by exposing the contradictions inherent in the programs of global human resources development taken as global education. The paper concludes by proposing a global studies curriculum to implement on the lower division level of a Japanese university. |

| Abstract | 本研究では、TOEICL&R オンライン試験とGTECAcademic 2技能テストのスコアの相関分析を行った結果を考察し、加えて、岡山大学が独自に開発したCan-Doリストを用いたアンケート結果も報告する。2021年4月に、岡山大学入学者2258名が全学統一GTEC2技能テストを受験し、そのうち96名がTOEICL&Rオンライン試験を受験した。TOEICL&Rオンライン試験の総合得点とGTEC2技能テストの総合得点の相関分析では、中程度の相関が認められた。さらに、約2300名の大学入学時における英語レベルを経年比較に基づき考察すると、従来のTOEIC L&R試験（マークシート式）とTOEIC L&R オンライン試験では、TOEICL&Rオンライン試験のスコアが高めに出る傾向が確認された。コロナ禍において、オンライン試験の需要が高まる中、2020年4月から実施できるようになったTOEIC L&Rオンライン試験が、今後、大学生の英語力を測る新たな指標としての外部検定試験の候補となるかどうか検討することを目的として、GTECテストと比較しながら詳細に報告する。 |

| Abstract | Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 a year ago, we have been living a drastically changed life—a new “normal.” One area in which this new normal is conspicuous is teaching and learning. Amid the rage of the spreading pandemic, schools and universities around the world had no choice but to switch to an online mode of teaching as the only viable option to deliver education. The sudden change to the online mode of teaching caused much confusion among teachers as they bore the brunt of the Covid-19’s assault on their established patterns of teaching. They often experienced intense feelings of anxiety in getting the new technology to work and crafting classes online to be as meaningful as possible. The story of this baffling experience of teaching needs to be told. Also, the students’ responses to new modes of learning need to be recorded. |

| Abstract | Okayama University is fast becoming a popular choice for International Baccalaureate (1B) students in Japan and abroad. Okayama University was the first Super Global National University (SGU) in Japan, to accept the 1B Diploma and exempt 1B students from taking the university entrance exams. Within a span of 9 years since 1B admissions started in 2012, 87 1B students have enrolled in 10 Faculties and 1 special program including 20 graduates. During their 1B education, 1B students go through an academically rigorous, well-rounded and international minded educational program. Continuous follow-up surveys of 1B students at Okayama University from enrollment to graduation has revealed that, besides academic excellence, 1B students are also well equipped with various other skills as reflected in the 1B learner profile, such as effective communication skills, critical thinking skills, a high level of English fluency and leadership skills. All these added skills prepare 1B students to adapt well to any new or unexpected situation. When the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic hit University life in Japan, all academic classes switched to online and club activities were postponed indefinitely. As University life adapted and re-adapted to the new norms of the pandemic, extracurricular activities that were mostly face-to-face, were hard hit. This article takes a look at 3 extra-curricular activities led by 1B students in the medical faculty, which went online to keep students motivated and connected during the ongoing pandemic. |

| Abstract | This paper discusses the complexity and the transition of the legal and social status of ethnic Koreans (Zainichi Koreans) after the Second World War. It outlines how the legal status of Zainichi Koreans without Japanese nationality remained precarious for four decades after the war. After numerous reforms in Japanese nationality law over the years, in 1991 finally the status of all the Zainichi Koreans with South Korean/Chōsen nationality was categorised into ‘special permanent residents.’ This paper also looks at two main ethnic organisations: pro-North Korea Chongryun and pro-South Korea Mindan. It examines how some Zainichi Koreans were split according to the organisations in which they participated, which led to the division of Korean communities in Japan. |

| Abstract | Japan's National Universities are now subject to "corporate" structures that, by recognizing the universities as legal persons and not simply parts of the state apparatus, aim to more closely follow models in many Western countries. The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted their development of more proactive institutional plans and indeed institutional identities. This study traces and explains vocabulary associated with current challenges for universities around the world, and argues that the broad concept of sustainability is a central theme around which a university may build and sustain an enduring self-image. |

| Abstract | One of the targets under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims to reduce and redistribute unpaid care work, which is mostly done by women, through the provision of public services and the promotion of shared responsibility. In February 2019, experts from academia and international organizations gathered at Okayama University for an international symposium focused on the issues around unpaid and paid care work in relation to gender equality and sustainable society. This paper will first briefly summarize the issues in care work, with a focus on childcare and elderly care in a Japanese context, followed by a discussion of the key points from the symposium related to care-centered economic and social policies. |

| Abstract | This paper discusses how Zainichi Koreans developed their identities both within and outside the realm of the ethnic community and ethnic organisations. This study uses qualitative multimethods research based on interviews with members and non-members of Zainichi Koirean organisations and field observations. The examination on Zainichi Koirean organisation members mainly concentrates on lived experiences of members from one of the ethnic organisations of Zainichi Koreans, Chongryun. This study finds that although some young Koreans separate themselves from the organisation and the homeland, they remain in the community. Many Chongryun Koreans share a collective ethnic consciousness, which was based on members’ love for the Chongryun schools. While there is an internal division within the community in terms of political views, many members still have a strong sense of group solidarity. On the other hand, the identities of non-member respondents are remarkably diverse. While some of them are assimilated into Japanese society, others retain strong ethnic identities. Their identities are less affected by any ethnic organisations and they rarely share collective memories with other Zainichi Koreans. This study shows that social networks and experiences of ethnic community individuals have a key role in determining their identities and the ways in which they live their lives. |

| Abstract | ハインリッヒ・フォン・クライストの小説『チリの地震』の結末には、亡くした子の埋め合わせとして、その死の元凶となった子を養子にする親の姿が描かれている。本稿は、この埋め合わせを始めとして小説でくり返される〈交換〉について考察したものである。『小説集』版で採用されている三段落構成に対応する形で、〈平等〉を描いた第二段落を中心に〈交換〉の不可能性と可能性が〈取り違え〉といった形で変奏されつつ対称的に表されている。身分の違いもなく誰もが〈平等〉となる状況を経て、通常〈交換〉不可能だと思われるもの、一個人でさえもが〈交換〉の対称となっている。 |

| Abstract | 東日本震災後、多くの人たちが被災地から他地域へ避難する中、芥川賞作家の柳美里は福島に向かった。「居場所のない人に寄り添う物語」を紡ぎ出すだけでなく実践する柳は、水俣病患者に「加勢」した『苦海浄土 わが水俣病』の著者である石牟礼道子に連なる。本稿では柳の行動を理解する手がかりとして、在日コリアン女性という属性に注目する。マイノリティー女性としての様々な経験は「人間を大きくし」「強くしなやかに生きていける」素地となったという人や日本人の理解者から支援を受けた経験から、もっと多くの人に在日のことを知ってほしいという声もある。一方で民族的マイノリティとして、また女性として複合差別の理不尽さを訴える声もあるので、本稿では複合差別の実態についても考察する。 |

| Abstract | 岡山大学グローバル・ディスカバリー・プログラムは英語だけで学位が取れる新しいプログラムであるが, 制度上他学部開講の授業も履修することが可能である。全学日本語の日本語コースで日本語「を」学ぶ学生とともに他学部で日本語「で」学ぶディスカバリー生も徐々に増えている。そこで他学部の授業や教養科目を履修するディスカバリー生を対象にアカデミック・ジャパニーズ科目を新規開講することになった。Backward Design，Differentiated Instruction，Learning Strategy Instruction の手法を利用し，授業をこなし単位を取得することを目標に，学生が限られた日本語能力で最大限に対応できる「自分に合う」学習ストラテジーを開拓できるコースの開発と履修状況を報告する。 |

| Abstract | グアレスキの『ドン・カミッロ』は、戦後間もないヨーロッパで多くの人々に受け入れられた。作品の底流にはキリスト教に裏付けされた筆者の道徳観があった。そこでまず、イタリアが1700年間守ってきたローマ教会の歴史と意義をまとめてみた。1900年代初頭には、労働者の組合運動が共産主義を生んだが、一方でこれに脅威を覚える保守勢力がムッソリーニ率いるファシスト党を支持する流れとなり、世界戦争へと発展していく。この怒涛の時代にグアレスキは生まれ育った。戦後の混乱期の中、彼はポー河流域の小さな町で起こる様々な事件をほのぼのと描いた。 |

| Abstract | 岡山大学では学生発案型授業を2003年度から実施している。本稿では、「岡山大学SDGsアンバサダー」発足後の2020年度に新たに取り組むこととなった学生発案型授業の実践について、開講の経緯、科目の概要、授業企画から実施までのプロセスを報告し、学生発案型授業の課題と展望について考察する。授業の発案者は「岡山大学SDGsアンバサダー」に登録した学生10名である。担当部署の職員の支援を受けて企画に着手し、教員を選定し、教員とともに授業企画を行った。本稿は、選定された教員の視点から学生発案型授業の実践状況を報告するものである。また、過去の学生発案型授業で指摘された課題の視点を継承し、学生発案型授業の認知促進のエ夫、発案者である学生と教員の役割分担、継続的な科目運営のためのエ夫について考察する。 |

| Abstract | 「平成30年7月豪雨」は，西日本を中心に多大な被害をもたらした。大災害で被災した子どもたちの心は長期にわたって影響を受けることが知られているが，子どもたちへの支援を考える上では，その保護者への支援も欠かせない。本研究では，平成30年7月豪雨の際に特に被害の大きかった地域において，被災から4か月後の11月に，子育てに支援が必要な保護者を対象としてペアレント・プログラムを実施すると共に，情報交換会を行った。全6回のプログラムを実施した結果，大半の参加者の抑うつ得点が低下した。今後，有事の際での事後的な支援対応だけではなく，平常時から孤立しがちな保護者への支援体制を予防的に構築しておくことが求められる。 |

| Abstract | 周知の通り、朱憙（一一三○～一二○○。朱子は尊称）の『論語』解釈は、中国思想の発展に寄与しただけではなく、日本や朝鮮半島などの東アジアの思想の発展にも大きな影響を与えたものである。だが、『論語』には「道」「心」「徳」「君子」などの中国哲学の概念が随所に現れており、朱子哲学においてのそれらの概念の含意を明確に解明しない限り、朱子の『論語』解釈の全内容を理解することは極めて難しいと思われるのである。筆者は、長年に渡って朱子哲学の研究に力を注ぎ、いままでは既に、「朱子の「太極」と「気」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第七号、二○一一年）「朱子の「神」」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第八号、二○一二年）「朱子の「心」」（京都大学『中國思想史研究』第三十四號、二○一三年）「朱子の「理」」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第十号、二○一四年）「朱子の「情」」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第十一号、二○一五年）「朱子の「変化気質」」（『岡山大学大学院社会文化学科研究科紀要』第四三号、二○一七年）「朱子の「君子」」（『岡山大学大学院社会文化学科研究科紀要』第四四号、二○一七年）などの論文を発表した。その朱子哲学の研究を通じて、筆者は、上記の諸論文、及び『四書章句集注』（新編諸子集成、中華書局、一九八三年）と『朱子語類』（全八冊、宋・黎靖徳編、王星賢点校、一九九四年）、特に『朱子語類』に所収の「論語（一～三十二）」（巻第十九～五十）に基づいての、『論語集注』を主とする朱子の『論語』解釈の現代日本語の完全翻訳を作成することが必要だと強く思うようになったのである。本稿では、『論語集注』（前掲の『四書章句集注』に所収）の「學而第一」の朱子の集注を和訳することと、『論語』學而第一の原文を主に『朱子語類』（前掲）に所収の「論語（一～三十二）」に記録されている朱子の説明に基づいて和訳することを試 みる。 |
