| Abstract | In this paper, the author analyzes the impact of economic indicators such as consumption expenditure and income on subjective well-being, using the Survey on Satisfaction and Quality of Life released by the Cabinet Office. Known as the Easterlin Paradox, even if a country's economic indicators, such as GDP per capita, increase, it does not mean that the average level of happiness of the people increases along with it. However, such theories as the relative income hypothesis indicate that income influences life satisfaction at the individual level. In this paper, the author analyzes subjective well-being and economic indicators at the individual level. Results indicate that the magnitude of the correlations among these variables differs by age. In the younger working-age group, increase in consumption, as well as in income, has positive effects on overall life satisfaction more significantly than in the retired group. This is because consumption of the younger group is lower than the desired level due to budget constraints. For those in their 50s, job satisfaction tends to be more significant. For the retired generation, subjective satisfaction with everyday matters such as housing, health, and social activity is more significant than economic conditions. |

| Abstract | Both the ancient Maya and Kofun society of Japan were cultural regions formed by Homo sapiens groups after leaving the Eurasian continent more than 10,000 years ago. In this paper, we examine their similarities and differences by comparing perspectives on time and space. The two societies were stratified and witnessed the development of monuments that emphasized their verticality. The greatest similarity was the formation of a network society in which local polities coexisted without the institutionalization of centralized leadership at the beginning. Subsequently, the Kofun society adopted the worldview of the Eurasian continent including the concept of the "nation", thereby achieving a new social integration. On the other hand, the ancient Maya, a primary civilization, did not go through the same social process and maintained a sustainable society over a long period of time, maintaining the same form of worldview, monuments, and technological systems. On the similarities rooted in the universality of the human body and cognition, disparity in the process of environmental and social changes, including the direction and distance of "Out of Eurasia", can be seen in the subsequent differences between the ancient Maya and the Japanese archipelago. In this paper, we have illustrated how the similarities and differences created diverse directions of culture and history. |

| Abstract | The purpose of this paper is to clarify the population dynamics of ancient Japan using spatio-temporal information science. Spatio-temporal information science is a computer simulation of time and space. In the first half of the eighth century, the population under the rule of the Japanese Ritsuryō State was about 4.5 million, and the country was in a state of chronic famine. In the first half of the ninth century, the population distribution showed a mosaic-like pattern with high population density in the central and western archipelago. With the exception of infectious diseases such as smallpox, famine caused by drought and rainstorms, and the resulting epidemics, were confined to regional areas, and the population of the areas seriously affected by famine and epidemics declined significantly. In the eighth century, the average annual population growth rate was between 0.1% and 0.2%, and the total population in the first half of the ninth century is estimated to have been between 5 million and 5.5 million. |

| Abstract | 2019年より，岡山大学では学生が企画・運営の主体となり，岡山市・こくみん共済 coop 岡山推進本部との産官学連携体制のもと，ダンスを用いた防災教育教材『ぼうさいPiPit ！ダンス』の開発と普及啓発活動を行う「防災ダンスプロジェクト」が始動した．大学を中心としたダンスを用いた社会課題解決の取り組みは全国的に見ても少なく，この防災ダンスの活動は先駆的な取り組み事例である．本稿では，特に教材の開発に焦点をあて，その制作過程を踏まえつつ，教材の全体的な方向性・学習内容・振り付け・音楽の特徴を整理・分析を行なうことで，今後のダンスを用いた地域社会の課題解決に関する基礎的資料を得ることを目的とする． |

| Abstract | 筆者は2005年と2006年にメルボルンで10人の高齢女性にライフヒストリーの聞き取り調査をした。本稿では，彼女たちの語り，先行研究，統計データから，1927年から1940年に生まれた女性がどのような人生をたどったのかを解明する。女性たちは第２次世界大戦後から始まったロング・ブームと呼ばれる好景気の時代に成人となったので，ほとんどが若くして結婚し，多くの子どもを出産した。多くの女性は結婚後あるいは出産後に専業主婦となり， 1970年代はじめに再就職した。多くの夫婦は庭付きの一戸建ての住宅を購入し，子育てをした。人生を比較的順調におくることができたという点で，このコーホートは幸運な世代であったと判断できる。 |

| Abstract | 本研究は，コロナ禍にオンラインで行った合唱授業での経験から，指揮の有効性に注目し，合唱授業における指揮の役割について論じるものである。オンラインで合唱授業を実施するに際して，これまでの通常の授業では，あまり採用することのなかった練習法を取り入れてみた。その結果，次の様な合唱の練習法に関して新たな知見を得た。即ち，指揮者を見て歌唱することは，受講生全員が一体となって音楽を共有できる作用が高まること，ハミングで歌唱することは，響きの向上を自覚できる効果が高いこと，パソコンに保存されたパートの音声を利用した二重唱の練習は，実際の合唱に近い感覚が得られることの３点である。これらの事例の中から特に合唱指揮に着目し，合唱受講生を対象に，合唱指揮に関する比較調査を実施した。調査結果をもとに確認できたことは，歌っている間，合唱者は，指揮者の手の動きを注視しているのみならず，顔の表情，口の動き，身体全体の動きについても，指揮者の手の動きと同程度に注意を払っているということである。 |

| Abstract | 本研究では，兵庫県と岡山県の小学生と大学生を対象に，童謡・唱歌の歌唱調査を行い，歌唱時における方言の影響の有無について検討した。調査にあたっては，小学校の学習指導要領に記載されている共通教材の中から≪うみ≫と≪夕やけこやけ≫の２曲を用い，歌詞朗読時と歌唱時の音声について録音し分析した。 歌詞朗読時の音声についての高低アクセントの判定の結果，兵庫県と岡山県のどちらの対象者においても方言アクセントで表現された箇所は少なく，共通語アクセント，または方言アクセント及び共通語アクセントのどちらとも異なるアクセントも見られた。次に，歌唱時の音声データをPRAATによって音響分析した結果，特に歌詞朗読時に方言アクセントの表れていた箇所において，ピッチおよびスペクトルに特徴的な動きを捉えることができた。また，歌唱時に方言の影響が現れやすいのは，歌詞朗読時の方言アクセントと旋律の動きの上行下行が対立している場合であることが明らかとなった。 |

| Abstract | 陶淵明「桃花源記」は高校国語教科書に多く採用される教材であるが，近年，この作品と表裏一体をなす「桃花源詩」を補助的に利用しようとする提案が出されている。しかし，「詩」がどのような形で「記」に関わっているのか，本文に則した検証は未だ充分ではない。そこで，まず清の陶澍注『靖節先生集』十巻のほか，南宋・元の諸本における収録状況を調査し，両者の緊密な関係について確認した。次いで「詩」を中心に見ながら，「記」との関連について分析を加えた。その結果，「詩」は推測や想像を交えて桃花源の日常を描くものであり，「記」はその空想の素材という関係が明らかとなった。それは「記」に新しい価値を見出すことでもあり，この点に「桃花源詩」を援用する意義があると結論づけた。 |

| Abstract | 本研究は，従来の主権者教育の課題を克服し，選挙の意義や価値について生徒自身が主体的に考える学習を通して，選挙に対する見方・考え方を身に付けることを目指した中学校社会科の授業を開発しようとするものである。従来の主権者教育は，投票の重要性を理解させ，学習者の国民として義務感を強調し，投票への意欲を喚起しようとするものであった。そのような主権者教育は，学習の直後に一時的に投票への意欲を高めることはできたとしても，その意欲を持続させることはできない。本研究では，そのような課題に応えるため，学習者が選挙制度それ自体のあり方について検討し，自分なりによりよい制度のあり方を考えることを通して，選挙の本質を捉えることができる授業を提案する。これにより，従来の義務感に訴える主権者教育から脱却する方向性を示したい。 |

| Abstract | 保育内容「健康」は，近年頻発する災害への対応や感染症拡大等に大きく関連する分野として，その在り方は改めて注目されており，その重要性を認識した保育者の育成については，養成段階から検討していく必要がある。本論では，保育者志望学生が，保育内容「健康」の授業実施前に抱く健康諸概念の特徴と課題を明らかにすることを試みた。具体的には，保育者養成校において，保育内容「健康」の授業前の健康概念を捉えるため，文章完成法（SCT）を用いて記述データを収集した。記述データには主にテキストマイニングを援用した量的分析，及び質的分析を行った。また，各学年の健康諸概念等の比較により，特徴を検討した。これらを踏まえ，授業実施に関する提案を述べた。 |

| Abstract | Naturalized Plants in Japan Seed-Image database is an image database of naturalized alien plant seeds recorded in Japan. This database contains plant images, information on morphological features of seeds and the name list of naturalized alien plants, as well as seed images. Seeds are categorized into 5 groups based on morphological features such as reticulation (wrinkles or projections), ridges, edges and achene fruit. Users can search seed images by family names, species names and those features. |
