| 抄録 | Both the ancient Maya and Kofun society of Japan were cultural regions formed by Homo sapiens groups after leaving the Eurasian continent more than 10,000 years ago. In this paper, we examine their similarities and differences by comparing perspectives on time and space. The two societies were stratified and witnessed the development of monuments that emphasized their verticality. The greatest similarity was the formation of a network society in which local polities coexisted without the institutionalization of centralized leadership at the beginning. Subsequently, the Kofun society adopted the worldview of the Eurasian continent including the concept of the "nation", thereby achieving a new social integration. On the other hand, the ancient Maya, a primary civilization, did not go through the same social process and maintained a sustainable society over a long period of time, maintaining the same form of worldview, monuments, and technological systems. On the similarities rooted in the universality of the human body and cognition, disparity in the process of environmental and social changes, including the direction and distance of "Out of Eurasia", can be seen in the subsequent differences between the ancient Maya and the Japanese archipelago. In this paper, we have illustrated how the similarities and differences created diverse directions of culture and history. |

| 抄録 | 筆者は2005年と2006年にメルボルンで10人の高齢女性にライフヒストリーの聞き取り調査をした。本稿では，彼女たちの語り，先行研究，統計データから，1927年から1940年に生まれた女性がどのような人生をたどったのかを解明する。女性たちは第２次世界大戦後から始まったロング・ブームと呼ばれる好景気の時代に成人となったので，ほとんどが若くして結婚し，多くの子どもを出産した。多くの女性は結婚後あるいは出産後に専業主婦となり， 1970年代はじめに再就職した。多くの夫婦は庭付きの一戸建ての住宅を購入し，子育てをした。人生を比較的順調におくることができたという点で，このコーホートは幸運な世代であったと判断できる。 |

| 抄録 | 本研究は，コロナ禍にオンラインで行った合唱授業での経験から，指揮の有効性に注目し，合唱授業における指揮の役割について論じるものである。オンラインで合唱授業を実施するに際して，これまでの通常の授業では，あまり採用することのなかった練習法を取り入れてみた。その結果，次の様な合唱の練習法に関して新たな知見を得た。即ち，指揮者を見て歌唱することは，受講生全員が一体となって音楽を共有できる作用が高まること，ハミングで歌唱することは，響きの向上を自覚できる効果が高いこと，パソコンに保存されたパートの音声を利用した二重唱の練習は，実際の合唱に近い感覚が得られることの３点である。これらの事例の中から特に合唱指揮に着目し，合唱受講生を対象に，合唱指揮に関する比較調査を実施した。調査結果をもとに確認できたことは，歌っている間，合唱者は，指揮者の手の動きを注視しているのみならず，顔の表情，口の動き，身体全体の動きについても，指揮者の手の動きと同程度に注意を払っているということである。 |

| 抄録 | 保育内容「健康」は，近年頻発する災害への対応や感染症拡大等に大きく関連する分野として，その在り方は改めて注目されており，その重要性を認識した保育者の育成については，養成段階から検討していく必要がある。本論では，保育者志望学生が，保育内容「健康」の授業実施前に抱く健康諸概念の特徴と課題を明らかにすることを試みた。具体的には，保育者養成校において，保育内容「健康」の授業前の健康概念を捉えるため，文章完成法（SCT）を用いて記述データを収集した。記述データには主にテキストマイニングを援用した量的分析，及び質的分析を行った。また，各学年の健康諸概念等の比較により，特徴を検討した。これらを踏まえ，授業実施に関する提案を述べた。 |

| 抄録 | The third international consensus definition of sepsis (Sepsis-3) recommends the quick sequential organ failure assessment (qSOFA) screening tool in patients with suspected infection. The Early Warning Score (EWS) helps to estimate mortality risk in emergency patients. The National EWS (NEWS) is a bedside score of six routine vital parameters. Few studies have compared qSOFA and NEWS in detecting suspected sepsis in cancer patients, so we compared them as a Sepsis-3 prognostic tool. [Methods] This is a retrospective observational single-center study. The study population consisted of cancer patients who entered the intensive care unit (ICU) between 2014 and 2016 for Sepsis-1 (based on systemic inflammatory response syndrome [SIRS] criteria). We calculated and compared the sensitivity and specificity of qSOFA and NEWS. We performed a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis of NEWS in the diagnosis of Sepsis-3. [Results] Of the 62 patients admitted to the ICU for Sepsis-1, 42 had Sepsis-3. For qSOFA, sensitivity was 0.71 and specificity was 0.75. Exploratory analysis using the Youden index suggested that 9 may be the optimal score for NEWS. The sensitivity and specificity of NEWS at 9 points were 0.81 and 0.95, respectively. [Conclusion] We found NEWS to be more accurate than qSOFA in screening for Sepsis-3. |

| 抄録 | 本稿は、日本の国立大学における初修外国語としての韓国語教育の現状について、各大学の教養課程シラバスを調査・考察したものである。開口状況に関しては、文部省のデータを用いて、公立・私立大学との比較やほかの初修外国語との比較を行い、初年次授業のみならず、2年次以降の開講状況についても調査した。さらに、科目名や週あたりの授業回数、使用教材を調べ、先行研究とのデータとの比較、分析を試みた。授業目標については、言語機能や場面・タスク、検定試験、学習内容、学習活動、異文化理解に関わる記述に分類し、CEFRや国際通訳韓国語教育標準模型（4段階開発分）、韓国語能力試験(TOPIK)、そしてハングル能力検定試験の評価基準との比較を行った。 |

| 抄録 | 本稿では、明治16年刊『再刊交隣須知』（再刊本）と、この再刊本を底本に約20年後に刊行された明治37年刊『校訂交隣須知』における見出し語と韓国語文の対応関係を分析して示している。明治前期の再刊本では部門配列（66個）が増補本系交隣須知の体制と同じであるが、明治後期の構成本では再刊本の部門や見出し語を整理して、59部門になり、再刊本の3012項目に対して校訂本には2801項目になっている。再刊本の2758項目と校正本の2761項目が対応するが、2361項目は大きな変化は見られない。また、再刊本と校正本の各項目間の対応表や見出し語感じが異なる項目などを付録で提示した。 |

| 抄録 | 本論文は中国語学習者のために制作された初級段階別読み物（GR）が多読活動を行う上で日本人学習者に適しているのか、また適した読み物はどのような特徴があるのか探ったものである。本研究では現在出版されている中国語GRの中でも初級者用の比較的多読活動に適していると思われるGRを取り上げ、これらのGRに用いられている語彙や文法項目が初級学習者のレベルに適切か考察し、されあに１年間の中国語学習を終えた学生を被験者と死、これらのGRの理解度を図った。分析の結果、中国語GRには多くの未習語彙が用いられているが、これらが学習者の理解度には影響を与えないということが分かった。また理解度が高いGRは学習者がイラストを手掛かりに未習語彙の意味を理解しているということが分かった。 |

| 抄録 | 本論では，保育者志望学生が，保育内容「環境」の授業実施前に抱く環境概念の特徴と課題を明らかにすることを試みた。具体的には，保育者養成校において，保育内容「環境」の授業前の環境概念を捉えるため，文章完成法（SCT）を用いて記述データを収集した。記述データには主にテキストマイニングを援用した量的分析，及び質的分析を行った。また，現職保育者の環境概念との比較により，学生の特徴を検討した。その結果，「環境に関わる保育者の役割の捉え」「環境の統制可能性の捉え」「環境の基本的な位置付け」において，保育者志望学生と現職保育者との間に相違が示唆された。これらを踏まえて，今後の可能性と課題を若干述べた。 |

| 抄録 | In the study, the actual evaporation was estimated in the Asahi River, the Takahashi River, and the Yoshii River basins in Okayama prefecture for four years from January 1999 to December 2002. The Morton method and the modified Brutsaert and Stricker (B & S) method were applied to the three river basins to estimate the actual evapotranspiration and compare the two methods. As a result, the actual evapotranspiration by the Morton method was all almost equal to that by the Penman’s potential evapotranspiration, and the evapotranspiration was overestimated rather than the actual evapotranspiration. The actual evapotranspiration by the modified B & S method was below the Penman’s potential evapotranspiration throughout the year, and the total annual amount was about 80% of the potential evapotranspiration. In addition, the modified B & S method showed the general tendency that the actual evapotranspiration was lower in urban area than in the hilly and mountainous areas. |

| 抄録 | 近代日本の国民教育とそれを支える教師の養成教育は，日本に独自的であり，同時に世界的動向の影響のなかに展開されるものであった。日本の教育は，西洋の教育をどう摂取したのか。とりわけドイツの教育の影響について，その一断面を，明治期の地方の一小学校教師が所持したドイツ教育書の内容と，その読書の跡の分析を通じて明らかにする。この事例の検討から，国民教育の実践者としての教師が，ヘルバルト主義教育に接し，その日本的受容を果たしていたことを示す。 |
