Abstract With a newly devised method of Ra. B determination using Dithizone extraction the author measured the Ra. B contents of Misasa and Sekigane Hot Springs. This method is applicable to the weakly radioactive waters. Radium B content of Misasa Hot Spring rangeS from 3.0 to 7.2×10(-9) Curie units per liter and the distance of its radon soure from the issuing point was estimated to be 3-25土5 minutes.

Abstract QCTおよびDIP法による測定値の相関性について検討し,DIP法による腰椎骨塩量の推定および,スクリーニングへの適用について考察した｡QCT値とΣGS/DやMClとの相関関係の検討では.対象のQCT値が低値か高値かによって相関関係がかなり異なることが明らかになった｡すなわち,QCT値が低い領域は,QCT値と,ΣGS/DやMCIに明らかな正の相関関係が認められたが,一方, QCT値が高い領域では,相関関係は認められなかった｡また,ΣGS/D=2.8mmAI以上,またはMCI=0.48以上の症例においては腰椎圧迫骨折の危険は小さく,ΣGS/D=1.8mmAI以下,またはMCI=0.24以下の症例においては腰椎圧迫骨折の危険が大きい可能性が示唆された。

Abstract Specific IgG and IgG(4) antibodies against Canadida albicans were exmined in 48 healthy and 69 asthmatic subjects to analyze the mechanism causing an increased production of these immunoglobulins. 1. The level of C.albicans-specific IgG and IgG(4) antibodies was higher, not significantly in IgG(4), in asthmatics under 30 years of age, compared with healthy subjects of the same age group. 2. Specific IgG and IgG(4) antibody levels in both healthy and asthmatic subjects showed a tendency to increase with aging, and significant difference was present between cases under 30 years and cases over 70 years of age. 3. Any difference in the production of specific IgG and IgG(4) was not observed in elderly cases older than 60 years between healthy and asthmatic subjects.

Abstract 40才～84才(平均64.1才)の患者38例における骨塩量を,ある期間(1～15カ月,平均8.2カ月)をおいて2回,定量的QCT(quantitative computed tomography)法を用いて測定し,その経時的変化によって,骨粗鬆症に対する治療法の効果判定を試みた｡その結果,(1)全体として骨塩量に有意の増加は認められなかった｡(2)骨強化剤使用例についても骨塩量に有意の増加は認められなかった｡(3)運動療法施行者においても骨塩量に有意の増加は認められなかった｡以上のことから骨粗鬆症の治療においては,約1年弱の経過では著明な反応は得られにくいものと思われた｡ただし,一部の運動療法施行者,骨強化剤使用者において,骨塩量の著明な上昇が認められており,さらに経時的な観察が必要と思われた。

Abstract 27～85才の女性143例における骨塩量を,定量的QCT法 (quantitative computed tomography)を用いて測定し,年令,身長,体重及び原疾患(慢性関節リウマチ),使用薬剤(ステロイド･骨強化剤)の因子の骨塩量に及ぼす影響について検討した｡その結果,1)加令とともに骨塩量は低下するが,特に40才代後半から60才代にかけての低下が顕著であり,また, 他因子の影響を受けやすい｡2)体型的因子としては.痩せ型で低身長の人に低値の傾向がある｡3)ステロイド使用の有無における検討において,特に50才代で使用群が著明に低値であることが明らかとなった｡また,薬剤の因子の考察に関しては,さらに経時的検討か必要であると思われた｡

Abstract 腎移植者のQOL向上をめざした系統的なアプローチを検討するにあたり,QOLに関係があると考えられる諸要因を導き出した｡本研究の目的は,それらの諸要因の関係を明らかにするために測定用具を作成し,その信頼性と妥当性を検討することである｡作成した測定用具は身体の状態,自己概念,不確かさ,ソーシャルサポート,対処およびQOLである｡測定用具の信頼性と妥当性は,4施設に通院をしている20オ以上の腎移植者210名を対象に行った｡信頼性はクロンバックαによる内部一貫性ないしは評定者間信頼性を検討し,妥当性は,構成概念妥当性ないしは併存妥当性を検討した｡自己概念,不確かさ,ソーシャルサポートおよび対処の尺度は,それらの項目の因子分析の結果,因子項目のクロンバックα信頼性係数が0.7以上で内部一貫性が支持され,さらに確認的因子分析により構成概念妥当性が支持された｡身体の状態およびQOLの尺度は,主成分分析の結果,各々の項目が総合化された主成分であることが示され,またそれらの尺度の評走者間信頼性ないしは併存妥当性が支持された｡したがって,上記の結果から,作成した尺度は腎移植者に適用可能な測定用具であることが示された。

Abstract 医療短大入学年(1990年,1993年,1996年)において異なるコホートをなす看護学生の対人関係価値を入学直後に自己像と理想のナース像についてKG-SIV(Kikuchi-Gordon Survey of Interpersonal Values)によって測定した｡その結果,自己像評定では入学年が進むにつれて｢支持｣や｢独立｣の価値を重視する傾向が増大するのに対し,｢博愛｣の価値は逆に重視されない傾向が見いだされた｡また,特に1996年では理想のナース像に対する要求水準が低くなることも明らかになった｡この結果を看護学生の社会化過程と関連づけて考察した｡

Abstract It is generally accepted that the number of patients with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee must increase in the future because of the increase of the aged. The pathogenic mechanisms of OA haven't been elucidated yet, but it is supposed that mediate pannus may cause the factors for irreversible cartilage damage in the inflammatory process. Therefore it is very important to find and predict OA at the early stage. Now there were many indices to determine joint damage with OA, for example, cytokines including IL, TNF, TGF, matrix metalloproteinase (MMPs), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase (TIMPs), proteoglycan (PG), hyaluronate (HA), super oxide, adhesion molecules including, ICAM-1, VCAM-1 and PECAM. In this study, we measured that the soluble VCAM-1 (sVCAM-1), soluble collagen (sCOLL), heparansulfate proteoglycan (HSPG), uronic acis and CRP in synovial fluids (SF) with OA. A positive correlation between the level of sVCAM-1 and sCOLL (ρ = 0.652) was noted. However there was no factor showing a correlation with CRP. It was suggested that the levels of sVCAM-1 and sCOLL in the synovia fluid were active inflammation indices of knee damage, as the different aspects from CRP. The level of HSPG also showed a unique trend because HSPG on the cell surface was quickly digested endocytosis, so that it was not suitable for the inflammatory index in synovial fluid with OA.

Abstract 本研究の目的は,外来透析者の主観的な評価によりQOLを測定し,そのQOLの傾向を明らかにすることである。対象者は,名古屋･大阪･岡山･広島の4施設における外来透析者で,研究に同意を得られた341名とし,研究方法は,自己記入式質問紙法を用いた｡測定用具は,Ferrans & PowersのQuality of Life Index (QLI)を翻訳して用い,データ分析はプロマックス法による因子分析を行なった｡QLI項目を因子分析した結果,｢社会･経済的な機能｣｢家族･他者からの支え｣｢心の安寧｣｢身体の健康｣｢医療と教育｣の5因子が抽出された｡そして,｢家族･他者からの支え｣および｢医療と教育｣はQLI得点が高く,｢社会･経済的な機能｣および｢身体の健康｣は低いことが明らかになった｡従って,QOLを高めるためには,社会的側面や身体面をより重視して看護していくことが重要であると考えられた｡
