Abstract | 本研究は、男性保育者を対象とした先行研究から、研究動向を明らかにし今後の課題を展望することを目的とした。対象文献は、CiNii Research を用いて、「男性保育者」をキーワードとして設定し検索したところ、84件が分析対象となった。対象文献を内容ごとに整理した結果、8つに分類することができた。各分類から、男性保育者に対する保育現場及び社会の認識は比較的明らかにされていたが、男性保育者自身の視点に焦点を当てた研究は十分でないことが明らかとなった。今後は、誕生して50年以上が経過した男性保育者を取り巻く周囲の認識の現状を改めて検討するとともに、男性保育者が保育職にやりがいを感じ、長期的なキャリアを築くにあたっての自己認識及び男性保育者が抱える課題の明確化が必要と考えられた。

抄録(別言語) | The purpose of this review was to identify research trends from previous studies on male child caregivers and to identify remaining issues for the future. Eighty-four reports were selected from the CiNii Research, which first searched the target literature using "male child caregiver" as a keyword. These articles have been grouped into eight categories based on their content. An examination of these categorized articles reveals that there is limited research from the perspective of the men who provide care, while the situation in childcare settings and the public's perceptions of male childcare providers are relatively clear. As future issues, it is necessary to re-examine the social perceptions surrounding male childcare workers, and to clarify the self-perceptions and challenges these workers face in finding fulfillment in the child care profession.
