| Abstract | この研究は子宮・卵巣の特性および甲状腺機能に対するmethallibureの抑制効果の機構を検討するために行ったものである. 5頭のYL(ヨークシャ×ランドレイス)未経豚に対し,methallibureを飼料に混じ1日/kg体重 2mgまたは3mgを経口投与した. methallibureにより子宮の退縮,卵巣および甲状腺機能の抑制,性周期の抑止が起った. 下垂体の組織学的研究によりFSHおよびTSHの分泌細胞であるβ細胞の退行,zona tuberalisの萎縮が明らかになった. 生殖器および甲状腺の抑制および性周期の同期化は下垂体のβ細胞の抑制(Fig.7)および性腺刺激ホルモン分泌抑制によるものである。
