| Abstract | The author has performed resection of 30 to 78 % of the livers on normal dogs, and studied the relations between the changes in liver function and the resected amount of the liver. The area of hyperglycemia was used for judging the fructose loading test. (1) The area of hyperglycemia showed the highest value after one week following the resection, and nearly normal value 3 weeks to 3 months. (2) There was no special relation between the highest value and resected amount after one week following the resection. (3) The restoration of the function was slow proportionately with the amount of resection.
