Title Alternative
A Study on Fatigue in a Certain Spinning Mill by Means of Filterpaper BPB Staining Method
Author
Ogata, Masana
Abstract Alternative
With the filterpaper BPB staining method the author measured the urinary protein contents both before and after the work of those female workers, living in the factory dormitory, and engaged in a certain spinning mill, and obtained the following results. 1. In every shop examined, the urinary protein content is increased after the work. 2. The amounts of urinary protein according to different shops ranged in the order of cotton mixing, spinning (shop Ⅱ), frying, spinning (shop I), weaving, and spooling, showing that the urinary protein content increases in proportion to the intensity of labor. 3. The above results prove that the urinary protein contents are clearly increased after the work because these workers, living in the dormitories, have no commutation fatigue, their meals are fixed and regular, and even in winter their working rooms are kept constantly around 20℃.
