Abstract 学習指導要領(2018)では、教科等横断的な視点に立った資質・能力として情報活用能力が新たに加わり、その育成を目指すことが求められる。算数科でも5年生「正多角形の書き方」でプログラミング的思考力を身につけるためのプログラミング学習が位置付けられた。
そして、算数科の目標を生かしながら、プログラミング的思考力の育成を目指すことが求められてるが、児童が数学的考え方を働かせるようなプログラミングの授業は、まださほど見受けられない。
そこで、児童が数学的考え方を働かせ、プログラミング的思考力を養うような算数科「円と正多角形」の指導計画と授業展開を考え、授業実践を行った。
児童は意欲的に順次処理、反復処理を使い、いろんな正多角形の描き方を考えることができた。

批判的思考を働かせる授業づくり～第6学年「データの活用」の授業改善を通じて～

Abstract 変化の激しい時代には、変化する状況に応じて見方・考え方を変える思考力が必要である。社会変化や統計教育の充実から、「データの活用」は新設され、中学校から小学校に代表値なども移行された。しかし、連続データを扱う統計的な問題解決の指導のあり方は未だ発展途上であり、統計的処理の仕方や結論を批判的に思考する授業展開が叫ばれているが、その具体的なアプローチの究明は喫緊の課題となっている。そこで、本稿では第6学年「データ活用」において、統計的処理の方法や結論に批判的な思考を働かせて検討し、自己の判断に信頼性がより高まる授業実践にチャレンジする。このように、統計的な問題過程を通して見出した代表値に批判的思考を働かせることは、代表値の見方・考え方を変えて、より信頼性を高めて考えることに有効であるという示唆が得られた。

数学的モデリングを用いた授業の提案

Abstract 日本の中学生・高校生は数学の力が国際的に高い水準にあるにもかかわらず現実世界との関連を充分理解しておらず、入学試験以外の面に数学を学ぶ意義や社会における数学との有用性をあまり感じていない生徒が多いといわれる(北澤・浜野,2000)。さらに、近年では、大学入試が「大学入試センター試験」から「大学入学共通テスト」に名前を変え、日常生活と結び付けた問題で知識を活用する能力や思考力を問うものが増えてきている。この様な近年の動向の中で、筆者は、数学的モデリングを教材として授業に取り入れることで、数学を用いた課題解決によって、生徒に数学を活用することの有用性や課題解決のぷろせすを感じさせる授業を提案する。今回提案する授業の教材は、「コンビニにおける在庫の仕入れ方」である。様々な状況のモデルに対して、いくつかの仕入れ方を検討していく。その上で、授業に適したモデルについても考察していく。
