保育士と親の二重役割から見た保護者支援に対する意識

本研究では，従来あまり検討課題として取り上げられることのなかった子育てを経験している保育士の親としての役割と保育士としての二重役割が，子育て及び保育全体を含めた保護者支援の専門的力量にもたらす相互の関連について検討した。
その結果，保育士の子育て経験は子どもに対する多面的な理解の拡充に加え，園でしか見ることのなかった子どもの姿を家庭での姿も含めて捉えることによって，子どもの日常の連続的な把握を可能にし，子ども理解が深化することが分かった。また，保護者（親）としての当事者性をもった保育士ならではの保護者理解により，保護者の心情や日常への想像力が高まることによって，共感的な理解が深まると共に，保護者に受け入れられる支援を見出す可能性が示された。他方，両立の困難さに葛藤を抱えながら職務を継続している保育士の厳しい現況が改めて確認された。

This study examined the relationships of the mutual influence of the dual roles of a parent and a nursery teacher who has childrearing experience on the professional competence of nursery teachers in providing parental support concerning childrearing and their childcare. As a result, it was found that in addition to expanding the nursery teachers’ multifaceted understanding of children, to deep a continuous understanding of children’s everyday life by grasping the children’ s life. Furthermore, as nursery teachers with childrearing experience could better imagine the feelings and everyday life of guardians (parents). Nursery teachers were continuing to work while struggling with the difficulty of balancing the dual roles.
