| Abstract | Culture-negative infected aneurysms possibly occur in various clinical situations, including prior antibiotic exposure. Accurate microbial identification is crucial for an optimal antimicrobial strategy. 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequence analysis would provide a useful tool for precise bacterial identification.
