| 抄録 | 'Kibi Plateau City' had been planned in 1974 and its construction started in 1981. Construction plan is divided into two intervals. The former interval of the construction plan was completed in 1993. The latter interval, however, has been freezing due to the local financial crisis of Okayama Prefecture. This paper first reviews planning process of 'Kibi Plateau City' and picks up current problems by statistical data and articles of newspapers. Secondly, questionnaire is made up and implemented to residents. Finally, according to the results of the questionnaire an evaluation of 'Kibi Plateau City' is proposed. |

| 抄録 | The "Kibi Plateau" forms a unique geomorphic province with the gently-sloping and stable continental feature. Gravel deposites called the "Mountain Gravels", are distributed sporadically in the Kibi Plateau, and have been considered Pliocene deposits. However, recent fission-track ages of the tuff beds intercalated in the deposits have indicated that the ago of deposits are Paleogen in the age. So far, fission-track ages (using zircon) of 61 to 65, 55, 37, 34 to 35 and 27 Ma are obtained. Remaining the belt-like distributions of the Paleogene gravelly valley-full deposits suggest that the Kibe Plateau has been keeping as a stable block, and repeated periods of incision followed by sedimentation of valley-fill deposits are occurred in the area during Paleogene period. |

| 抄録 | P.acnesを皮内前感作した後、P.acnes菌体壁成分をimcomplete Freund's adjuvantと共に気管内に投与して作製した実験的肺肉芽腫症モルモットにおける抗P.acnes抗体について検討した。気管支肺胞洗浄液中抗P.acnes抗体価は気管内投与後1週目ピークを示し2週目までは上昇が認められ、4週目では気管内投与前の値に復した。この経過は肺胞内リンパ球数の変動と軌を一にしており、抗体価とリンパ球数の間には正の強い相関が認められた。血清中の抗P.acnes抗体価は1週目に低下が認められ、2週以後に徐々に回復して4週以後は元に戻った。P.acnesの気管内投与により血清中の抗体は肺へと移行し、リンパ球浸潤による胞隔炎、更には類上皮細胞肉芽腫の形成にP.acnesの関与を示すものであった。 |

| 抄録 | 備中吉備津神社の神職であった藤井高尚（明和元、1764年～天保11、1840年）は、鈴屋門の高足として本居宣長の学問を継承した近世後期を代表する国学者の１人である。『伊勢物語新釈』や『古今和歌集新釈』などの古典研究、および『消息文例』や『松の落葉』といった文章作法書や随筆の執筆などからもわかるように、高尚の国学はおおむね宣長学の歌文の領域を継承したものとされている。しかし、そのなかで『浅瀬のしるべ』は「世人の教えとなるべき諺四十八条を取り上げそれらに託しつつ、著者の日頃の所懐を得意の雅文で綴った」一種の教訓本の体裁をとり、高尚の著作としては異色の部類に属するものである。藤井高尚の国学に関して、筆者はこれまで3回にわたり、本研究集録に「化政期国学の一断面」と題する論考を掲載し、藤井高尚の国学の教化論的性格についての考察を行った。しかし、それらの論考は幾分論点が多岐にわたり、その結果焦点が拡散したうらみがあった。そこで本稿において改めて先の3論考の内容を集約するとともに、藤井高尚の国学の教化論的性格を化政期の教訓をめぐる状況の中に位置づけておきたい。 |

| 抄録 | This study is motivated directly by the very limited scope of the traditional communication strategy research in that it places exclusive emphasis on lexis and indirectly by the inadequacy of some hasty attempts, which followed the seminal work by Domyei (1995), to investigate into the effectiveness of strategy instruction without paying due attention to the nature of strategic processes involved in speech production. It focuses on the process of changing the grammatical subject (i.e. paraphrase beyond the lexical level), as a means of avoiding and/or solving problems in speech production. The process is investigated by analyzing the relationships between the original sentences and their paraphrastic counterparts given in a monolingual dictionary. The investigation identifies various ways in which linguistic elements in the original sentence are manipulated to yield a new subject. |
