| 抄録 | Twenty-two isolates of Pyrenophora teres Drechs. collected from Japanese and Canadian spring barleys were inoculated to 38 barley varieties having various genetic backgrounds. The analysis of variance for the discase ratings showed that there were significant differences both in the virulence of isolates and the resistance of varieties. However, the interaction among isolates and varieties was not statistically significant. Both Finlay-Wilkinson regression analysis and principal component analysis by Additive Main effects and Multiplicative Interaction effects(AMMI)model classified the isolates into three groups,which were different in origins and sympton types. A spot tyte isolate was distinguished from net type isolates by its generally high virulence. A slight pathogenic differentiation was suggested between Japanese and Canadian net type isolates. |

| 抄録 | 近年、琵琶湖の南湖をはじめ、霞々浦や相模湖など多くの湖沼や水道水源地において、人間活動に付随すると富栄養化問題となり、ラン藻類、特にかび臭物質を産生するラン藻の発生が憂慮されている。琵琶湖を水源とする大津、京都、大阪、神戸など関西の各都市の水道では、同湖で毎年発生するラン藻、すなわちAnabaena macrospora｛ジオスミン（geosmin）を産生｝やPhormidium tenue, Oscillatoria tenuis｛2-メチルイソボルネオール（2-methylisoborneol, MIB）を産生｝などが作り出すこれらのかび臭物質（ジオスミンまたはMIB）による水道水の異臭味が大きな問題となっている。こうした水圏環境における異臭味は世界各地でも問題となり、近年この問題に関する国際シンポジウム（International Symposium on Off-Flavors in the Aquatic Environment）が開かれるようになり、1982年6月には第1回（ヘルシンキ）、1987年10月には第2回（鹿児島）、そして1991年3月には第3回（ロサンゼルス）のシンポジウムがそれぞれ開催された。しかしこうしたラン藻が異常増殖する要因はまだ明らかではない。そのためかび臭物質を産生するラン藻類の発生を予測あるいは抑制する情報に関する研究は強い要請があるにもかかわらずあまり進展をみていない。 |

| 抄録 | A system designed to measure the vegetation response to environment was constructed on the basis of the eddy correlation method.It consisted of two sets of a small rapid response sensors; three dimensional sonic anemometer thermometers and infrared CO2-humidity fluctuation meters,and a personal computer for data acquisition. Field tests of the system were made over a barley field in April and May,1990.The turbulent fluxes obtained by two sets of flux measuring system mounted at the same height were in fair agreement. The turbulent fluxes(momentum,sensible heat,latent heat and carbon dioxide) measured at two height wihtin and above plant cannopies and their differences showed realistic diurnal variations.The direction and magnitude of each flux varied depending on the srength or distribution of source and sink within plant canopies. These findings confirmed that this measureing system is promising for quantitative estimate of vegetation response such as transpiration, photosynthesis and respiration in certain canopy layers to environmental variations. |

| 抄録 | To investigate the differences and mechanism of germination among the seeds of some species of genus Echinochloa and rice, the experiments were conducted in solutions of salt, sugar, and PEG(poly-ethylene glycol) under a constant or alternating temperature in the light or the dark. The seeds of Echinochloa oryzicola Vasing., Ehinochloa crus-galli Beauv.var. formosensis Ohwi, Echinochloa crus-galli Beauv.var.crus-galli(awnless and awned type)and Oryza sativa L.(Akebono) were used. In 7000hPa, germination of rice,E. oryzicola and three varieties of E.crus-galli in all the solutions remarkedly decreased except for the case of E.crus-galli in the solution of sale on alternating temperature. The germination of rice and E.oryzicola was secreased markedly, and more markedly in a light condition than in a dark. In the salt solution in 7000hPa, the decreasing of germination of E.crus-galli was low. This species is distributed and grows in the upland and paddy field, while E.oryzicola and rice grow only in the paddy field. The decreade in germination of Echinochloa species with osmotic pressure seemed to be recoverde with salt or sugar solutions under alternating temperature, but the recovery of rice was not seen. In 700hPa or less, the distinct differences of germination were not seen among these plants species. |

| 抄録 | Odontoglossum ringspot virus (ORSV)はJensen＆Gold（1951）によってOdontoglossum grandeにえそ輪紋を生じた病原ウイルスに命名されたが、CattleyaやCymbidiumを中心として広くラン科植物に発生していることが認められている。また、わが国では井上（1966、1983）がCymbidiumからORSVを分離し報告しており、日本でも多種属のラン科植物にORSVの発生が非常に多いことが認められている。シュンラン、カンラン、スルガランなどを含む東洋ラン・Cymbidium属では、かつて葉にモザイク斑を生じた斑紋を”金砂”と呼び非常に珍重されていたが、井上（1984、1990）はこの斑紋がORSVの感染によって生じたものであることを記載した。さらに、井上・呂（1983）は台湾においてもORSVが東洋ランに発生していることを報告している。これらの報告にはウイルスの診断と病徴の記載にとどまり、その病原ウイルスの諸性質についての詳細な記述がなされていなかった。本報告では、葉に軽いモザイク症状を示す東洋ランと呼ばれているスルガラン（Cymbidium ensifolium：蕙蘭）およびカンラン（Cymb. kanran）から検出されたウイルスについて病原学的研究を行ったところ、ORSVと同定されたので、これらの諸性質についての研究結果を報告するとともに、この東洋ラン分離株と既報の洋ランから分離されているORSVおよび同グループのtobacco mosaic virus （TMV）との比較研究を行ったので、それらの結果についても報告する。 |

| 抄録 | Barley plants may be severely damaged by aphids,mainly because they may transmit viruses,suck food and disrupt tissues. There are resistant lines and susceptible lines in barley to aphids. The changing amounts of gramine from seeding to mature stages were investigated on 27 lines from 1989 to 1991. Barley was sown aound November 20 in the year and harvested in early June. Higher amount of gramine in seeding stage in all lines were detected,then gradually decreased with barley growth until 2 to 3 weeks before the earing stages. At this time aphids had appeared on the barley leaves and increased in population. The susceptible lines had a tendency of greater decrease in gramine content than the resistant lines at the time of aphid population growth. The maximum aphid population was observed from the end of April to early May. The gramine content was almost constant this time. The degradation mechanisms may be important factors determining the defference of resistant and susceptible lines at the aphid population growth stage. The susceptible lines may have a higher activity of degradation mechanism. |

| 抄録 | Plant-feeding arthropods, in the course of evolution have adapted differentially to their plant host and thereby gained access to the available resource. Plants responded by developing chemicals and morphological defense to arthropods. Some secondary metabolic substances in plants have been assumed to be toxic or deter feeding. Aconitic acid in the barnyard-grass subspecies, Echinochloa oryzycola Vasing has been reported to be an active component against brown rice planthopper Nilapalvata lugens (Stal) (Kim et al. 1976). Aphids, Ropalosiphum padi. L., R. maidis (F.), Schizaphis graminum (Rondani)and Sitobion akeviae (Shinji), are important pests of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) and wheat (Triticum aesstivum L.). On barley plants, more than seven aphids per stem causes yield loss (Hansen 1990). R. maidis sometimes severely infested corn plants (Zea mays L.), the leaves being wet by honeydew. Melanaphis sacchari (Zehntner) caused brownish decay of leaves of a susceptible line・ of sorghum Sorghum bicolor Moench. We examined the relation between aconitic acid contents and aphid densities in wheat, barley, corn, sorghum, barnyard grass and rice (Rustamani et al. 1992a). The plants containing larger amounts of aconitic acid showed a moderate degree of resistance to aphids. The findings obtained on additional lines in 1991, and on other components, such as DIMBOA (2,4-dihydroxy-7-methoxy-1,4-benzoxazin-3-one), are reported herein. |

| 抄録 | The extracellular polysaccharides have been fractionated from the culture medium of carrot(Daucus carota)cell culrures by precipitation with ethanol and by chromatography on DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B DEAE-Trisacryl M ion-exchange and Bio-Gel A-1.5m gel-permeation.The sugar composition and molecular mass of purified neutral and acidic polymers were determined. The neutral and acidic polymers were treated with purified endo-Β-glucanase from Trichoderma viride and pectic depolymerases,such as endo-pectate lyase from Erwinia carotovora Er. and endo-polygalacturonase from Kluyveromyces fragilis, respectively. The "hairly"(ramified)regions of acidic polymer were sequentially treated with purified α-L-arabinofuranosidase and β-galactosidase from carrot cell cultures, and were further hydrolyzed with 50mM trifluoroacetic for 1 hr at 100℃. From these results, the extracellular polysaccharides secreted from carrot cell cultures are charactarized. |

| 抄録 | In Japan, wheat is usually cultivated from December to June as a second crop in the same field as rice. In Cd-polluted areas, the fields are affected by both wastewater and the emissions from the chimneys of zinc refineries or plating factories. The application of inhibition agents, such as slaked lime, calcium silicate or fused magnesium are applied to inhibit the absorption of these metals by plants. Many reports have been made on the decrease of metal absorption through the application of some form of calcium, phosphate or silicate. Also, it has been reported that wheat is more sensitive to CdS than to CdO. However, almost all experiments were performed at less than 500 ppm Cd in soil, and these experiments have not been made at a concentration close to the level critical for wheat plants. There have been few reports on the effects of calcium cabonate on metal tolerance or metal uptake at the a level critical wheat. The typical example of using calcium carbonate was investigated by Maeda, and the application of phosphate by Koshino, and by Muramoto et al. The effects of calcium carbonate on the metal content of wheat to the critical levels were examined. |

| 抄録 | 本稿では、1879年師範学校設置法の成立過程について、下院にその骨子を提案した検討委員会の報告(ポール・ベール報告)の概要と特質、ならびにその報告を受けて行なわれた下院における第一回の審議の概要と結果について考察した。ポール・ベール報告は男女の師範学校の設置を各県に義務づけるとともにその実施方策として各県の初等教育事業に関わる特別税で負担する原則を明確にするものであり、その論議過程では各師範学校に附属周学校の付設を義務づける修正案が提案されたことも強調するものであった。その後の第一回審議では、既に設置されることが決定していた女子師範学校のために、委員会提案の法案が暫定的に可決されたのであった。 |

| 抄録 | 本稿は教師の多忙・多忙感を規定する歴史的構造の検討(北神・高木、2007)につづき、教師の多忙間に関連する実証的先行研究の諸成果を整理し、今後の研究の課題と教師の勤務実態を改善する方策の提案を行うことを目的とする。そのため、まず多忙間やストレス、勤務上の効率など目的変数に関する議論を行い、ついでそれらに悪影響を与える属性と説明変数に関する議論を行う。これらの知見の整理と課題を踏まえた上で、今後の研究の方向性を4つの展望にまとめ考察を行った。 |

| 抄録 | The base of Menshenbildung is cultivated in infancy, and infant education is a firm basis of the education in subsequent years. We can not discuss the education without considering the importance of the infant education. In this paper, we reconsider playing and learning of the infant, taking up the infant education and its adjacent domains. First, we consider the necessity to make playing a kind of learning and suggest concrete measures. Secondly, referring computer games and traditional playing, we examine playground equipments which will activate infants' play. Thirdly, we point out that there is still an insuperable barrier between primany education and infant education. We also verify that the creative education stands on the edge of crisis, relating the current of an exaggerated importance on intellectual training. And finally, we discuss some problems concerning the child-raising support. |

| 抄録 | アメリカ合衆国における特殊教育関連サービスの提供をめぐる係争事例を検討し、法制度の実践的応用に伴う課題について明らかにすることを目的とした。とりわけ、個別教育計画(IEP)の記載内容とサービス提供の関係が議論された2つの係争事例をとりあげた。その結果、事例における議論の主な背景要因として、①サービス提供を組織的確立するための学校システムの構築、②共通理解を深めるための関係者における連携の強化が課題となっていた。これらの課題を踏まえ、組織的な管理・支援体制を構成し、子どもに関わる全ての者が適切に情報・理解を共有するための継続的な機会確保の必要性が示唆された。 |

| 抄録 | 本稿は、まず、異文化理解と国際理解の区別を明確にするために、異文化理解の概念について論じ、「異文化理解の中心的概念要素」として4つの項目を提案した。さらに、異文化理解教育の実践における視点として、目標の設定と目標の実践順序を取り上げ、異文化理解の中心的概念要素の実践および実践に必要な資源・能力の育成を異文化理解教育の目標として設定し、理念的な実践を行うための実践順序を提案する。最後に、小学校における代表的な実践例のいくつかを取り上げて論じた後、異文化理解教育の理念的な実践試案の概念を提示する。 |

| 抄録 | Throughout its long history, the English Language has produced a wide variety of terms applied to men and/or woman, most of which are found in address forms in spoken language. Literary authors make an effective use of different terms as variation, whether abusive or endearing, to have their works reflect the colloquial language of their days. Eighteenth-century British literary works can be valuable materials for us to analyse linguistic features. The present artice aims at examining the terms of abuse in Richardson Pamela (1740) from a historical perspective. A comparative discussionis made, where necessary, on two contemporary literary works from the same perspective, in the hope of sketching out the semantic history of each term and exploring one phase of colloquialism in those days. |

| 抄録 | Major literary works are, as is generally admitted, a mirror in which multiple currents of any particular age are faithfully reflected. Upon reading Goldsmith's The Vicar of Wakefield (hereafter referred to as The Vicar, 1766), one cannot resist an impression that this is especially true of the work. What strikes us is a pervasive atmosphere of harmony between man and nature and a keen sense of poetry to be enjoyed heartily in the characters' daily life. These are reflected in the narration by Primrose the protagonist and Anglican clergyman. True we see in the work signs of an uneasy relationship between the haves and the have-nots due in part to the abuse of power by the former at the sacrifice of the latter; and due in part to the age's legacy of surviving brutality, the miserable condition of life, and the resulting social ills in the lower order of society. Also, we discern in it signs of the incipient decay of the traditional village community. Still, the village life retains its wholeness and integrity in the fabric of a close-knit human network based on its agricultural way of life. |

| 抄録 | The folloeing results were revealed regarding the current status and changes in domestic cleaning, from the interviews conducted in the four traditional residential areas surveyed during 1985 through 1987. (1) Daily cleaning was carried out mainly on daily used rooms, and the span of the daily cleaned area tended to decrease. Except for "kado-haki" (house-front cleaning) in Kyoto, such cleaningjobs were carried out after breakfast. (2) Domestic cleaning was considered to be a duty and the concept of contracting progessionals from outside the household was unthinkable. (3) Since the residences built in the conventional construction method were surveyed, continuous cleaning habits generated luster in lumber used in the flooring, pillars and lattices, which made it easier to remove stains. The residents lived in the houses with loving care. |

| 抄録 | 本研究では、岡山大学教育学部付属幼稚園が実施ししている体力・運動能力テストから、1992年、2006年およびその中間年にあたる1999年のデータを用いて15年間の推移を明らかにすることを目的とした。幼児の体力・運動能力について、加齢の影響や性差が確認できた。また、体力・運動能力に個人差が大きいことが幼児期の特徴とされるが、体力の構成要素による差異が明らかとなった。多くの測定項目で15年間における低下および不変が確認できた。幼稚園児の体力・運動能力が長期的に低い状況を維持していることは、小学生・中学生の体力・運動能力が低下傾向を続けているとする報告と年代的にも同じであった。これらのことから、子どもを取り巻く生活環境の変化による運動経験や活動量の減少は、幼児期からの幅広い年代における体力・運動能力の低下に影響を及ぼすと考えられた。 |

| 抄録 | これまでの研究では、理科の学習における事故の発生状況の調査と分析、学習指導要領及び教科書における安全学習に関する記述の抽出と分析を行った。本研究では、現代分析を通して小学校理科における安全学習の現状と問題点を把握するとともに、安全学習の今後の在り方について考察した。また、安全学習においる支援の一例として、子どもの危険予測、回避の力を育てる教材(デジタルコンテンツ)の開発を試みた。 |

| 抄録 | オーストリアの前期中等教育段階における物理教育の現状を、前段階である初等教育段階の科学(理科)教育との関連性の視座に立ち、学習指導要領、教科書などから、明らかにした。オーストリアの前期中等教育段階における物理教育は、独立した教科書を設けて行われている。一方、初等教育段階における物理教育は、「事象教授」の枠内で行われているとみなせる。学習目標は両段階とも知識理解だけに限定していない点で共通しているが、その性格や範囲が異なっている。学習内容に至っては、前期中等教育段階では思考方法、社会における位置づけなども扱う一方で、初等教育段階ではほぼ力学だけであり、量的にも少なく、一貫性や関連性が図れていると言い難い。 |
