Abstract
平成15年度から新設された高等学校「理科総合B」教科書における「生物の多様性（遺伝子・種・生態系の多様性）」の扱われ方を、学習指導要領と教科書を手がかりに分析した。実験・観察や課題研究には、様々な内容が取り上げられていたこと、示されている生物は、義務教育段階と同様、種類に未だ偏りがあること、そして、遺伝子・生態系の多様性の扱いに不十分さがあることを明らかにした。したがって、「生物の多様性」の扱われ方の現状は、多様であり、過渡期であるといえる。
