Abstract
After inplanting a small sponge block subcutaneously the production of the fibroblasts and capillaries growing into the sponge block have been observed in the rats given oxygen inhalationfor 12 hours a day, and on comparing it to that of the sponge bearing animals living on air, some delay in the growth of the granulation tissues has been found in the O(2)-inspiring animals.
