Studies on endemic polyradiculoneuritis (Guillain-Barre Syndrome) in the middle western part (Chugoku and Shikoku) of Japan. Part 3. On special cases

Among 126 cases of Guillain-Barre disease seen at the pediatric clinic of the Okayama University Hospital, there were one recurrent case, simultaneous occurrence of the disease in one pair of monoovular twin brothers and three pairs of affected brothers with occurrence of differend periods. 1. Regarding one recurrent case, it is considered that the individual got an imcomplete immunity and following reinfection, or he had sustained some accompanying neuro-allergic phanomen. 2. Some constitutional factors may be concerned to the pathogenesis of the twins and the three pairs of fraternal contraction.
