Mucoprotein Concentrations in Psychotics Ⅱ. Plasma Mucoprotein Levels Following Electro-Convulsive Therapy and Insulin Shock Therapy in Schizophrenics

Plasma mucoprotein concentrations showed no difference between the patients treated with ECT and the untreated, but increased immediately after every ECT, and soon decreased below the levels before ECT. The plasma mucoprotein concentrations were observed continually high levels during insulin shock therapy and highest in its coma.
