Recent advances have underscored the critical involvement of extracellular matrix (ECM) biophysical properties in shaping immune cell behavior and metabolic states that contribute to disease progression. This review systematically delineates the pathological remodeling of ECM biophysics in SLE, with a focus on their roles in mechanotransduction, immune-metabolic interplay, and organ-specific tissue injury.
