When drying grains using a fixed drying system, the warm air gradually loses its heat and acquires moisture, and loses its drying ability while passing through the thick layer of grains. Therefore, the difference of moisture content between blow side and exhaust side increases as the drying time elapses. To minimize this difference of miosture content between layers, a rotary mixing mechanism was introduced, and its effect was evaluated. 1. By adopting this rotating method, the unevenness of grain moisture became small. 2.To promote mixing in the measurement and mixing tank, the combination of angels in the side plate of hopper was varied. Hopper of shape 1 was better than shape 2 in the degree of mixing. 3.Drying ability of a facility is influenced by the degree of mixing.
