1. In hemolytic and hemagglutinic reactions, erythrocytes treated with trypsin show hemolysin- and hemagglutinin titers higher than normal erythrocytes. 2. In hemolytic and hemagglutinic reactions, Forssman's antibody does not react with normal bovine erythrocytes, but it reacts well with bovine erythrocytes treated with trypsin. 3. Anti-serum, got from rabbit immunized with erythrocytes treated with trypsin, shows hemolytic and hemagglutinic reactions as well as anti-serum got from rabbit immunized with normal erythrocytes. 4. In conglutination, erythrocytes treated with trypsin show conglutinin-titer higher than normal erythrocytes. 5. Erythrocytes treated with trypsin make complement-titer higher than normal erythrocytes. 6. Hemolysin and hemagglutinin are as well absorbed by erythrocytes treated with trypsin as normal erythrocytes.
