実践的ピアサポートおよび仲間支援活動の背景と動向―ピアサポート／仲間支援活動の起源から現在まで―

私たちの社会では、習慣的に仲間支援の手法が用いられてきたが、近年、「ピアサポート」が学校教育現場に実践的に導入され、欧米で開発されてきた技法なども紹介されて仲間関係を積極的に活用しようという動きがある。福祉の領域などでは、より積極的に仲間支援が行われ、歴史的に見ても教育・福祉等の分野で活用してきた経緯がある。そうした支援は、相談活動、葛藤調停、仲間づくり、アシスタント、学習支援、指導、助言、グループリーダーの7項目に分類される。学校で生徒がもつ仲間支援の力が十分活用するようにプログラムが構成されるとき、生徒らにとって有効なピアサポート活動が実施できる。

Our society has been utilizing students' support for other peers. Lately "Peer Support" has been introduced to our school environment together with some strategies, and the purpose of this movement is to make a good use of peer relationship. In the field of social work, people are using the function. Even traditionally people have been using this helping relationship among peers both in the fields of education and social work. They are summarized in 7 categories, such as counseling, mediation, be-friending, assistance, tutoring, advising and goup-leading. When schooll utilizes students helping ability, people find useful and practical peer support program.
