オーストリアの「生物・環境」教科書における「生物の多様性」--前期中等教育の場合

オーストリアの前期中等教育段階（第5～8学年）の教科「生物・環境」において、環境教育に関わる新しい課題となっている「生物の多様性」がどのように扱われているかを、学習指導要領と教科書を手がかりに分析した。「生物の多様性」の概念を規定してはいないものの、生態系を軸とした学習を通して、「生物の多様性」を扱っているといえることがわかった。

The purpose of this study is to examine how biodiversity is treated in the "Biologie und Unweltkunde (Biology and Environment)", which is the Austrian school subject at the lower secondary school. By analyzing the national curriculum standard and the textbooks, we found that: school subject does not specife the 'Biodiversity' as a technical term or in the index, but includes general ideas of biodiversity, using other related contents, especially ecology.
