The load for caregiving should be shared by the entire society, but the fact is that actual load is on domestic caregivers. We carried out a survey on the load for caregiving from January to March, 1999. Questionnaires were delivered and collected from 239 home caregivers who have elderly over 65 years old. The average age of the caregivers were 65.0 years old. Our analyses indicate that the caregivers are exhausted mentaly and physically from the load, but they keep encouraging themselves with resposibility as families. en-copyright= kn-copyright= en-aut-name=HyodoYoshimi en-aut-sei=Hyodo en-aut-mei=Yoshimi kn-aut-name=兵藤好美 kn-aut-sei=兵藤 kn-aut-mei=好美 aut-affil-num=1 ORCID= en-aut-name=TanakaKoji en-aut-sei=Tanaka en-aut-mei=Koji kn-aut-name=田中宏二 kn-aut-sei=田中 kn-aut-mei=宏二 aut-affil-num=2 ORCID= en-aut-name=TanakaTomoko en-aut-sei=Tanaka en-aut-mei=Tomoko kn-aut-name=田中共子 kn-aut-sei=田中 kn-aut-mei=共子 aut-affil-num=3 ORCID= affil-num=1 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学 affil-num=2 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学 affil-num=3 en-affil= kn-affil=岡山大学 en-keyword=Family care givers kn-keyword=Family care givers en-keyword=Elderly kn-keyword=Elderly en-keyword=Burden kn-keyword=Burden en-keyword=Burnout kn-keyword=Burnout en-keyword=Support kn-keyword=Support END
