Abstract

The Institute of Laboratory Animal Research（ILAR）within the Center for Animal Research and Education (CARE), Nagoya University was established in July 2013. The aim of ILAR is to provide care for laboratory animals in safe and sanitary manner that enables researchers in the Nagoya University Higashiyama Campus to conduct proper experiments. We will now give an outline and introduce the characteristics of the new ILAR.
